Capture
Lead funnels that qualify while they capture
A lead funnel that captures everybody generates work rather than revenue. One that qualifies too hard generates neither. The design question is where to put the friction.
Quick answer
What is a lead generation funnel?
A lead generation funnel captures contact details from prospective customers, usually in exchange for something of value, and qualifies them as it does so. It balances volume against quality — capturing enough leads to matter while gathering enough information that sales knows which are worth pursuing.
The problem
What this actually fixes
You get plenty of leads and almost none are worth calling.
Qualifying properly reduces volume to the point where there is nothing to work.
Sales cannot tell a good lead from a poor one without ringing them.
The lead magnet attracts people who will never buy.
Leads arrive with a name and email and nothing else.
Nobody knows which sources produce leads that convert.
Scope
What's included
Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need. This is the full deliverable list.
Deliverable 01
Offer design
What is exchanged for the details, chosen to attract people who might genuinely buy rather than maximum downloads.
Deliverable 02
Progressive qualification
Minimal fields at capture, with more asked after the commitment is made rather than before it.
Deliverable 03
Scoring and routing
Leads scored on the information gathered and routed by value, so sales attention goes where it is worth spending.
Deliverable 04
Source attribution
Every lead tagged with its source and campaign, which is what makes spend decisions possible.
Deliverable 05
Immediate follow-up
Automated first contact within seconds, because a lead magnet download is a moment of interest that fades quickly.
Deliverable 06
Nurture for the unready
Sequences for leads who qualify poorly now and may not later, rather than discarding them.
How it works
From first call to running system
- Step
Define the qualified lead
What makes one worth a sales conversation. Without this, the funnel optimises for volume by default.
- Step
Design the exchange
The offer and the fields, balanced against the audience's willingness at that stage.
- Step
Build and connect
Pages, forms, scoring, routing and follow-up wired.
- Step
Measure by source
Not just lead count but lead quality by source, which frequently reorders where you spend.
Put the friction after the commitment
The volume-versus-quality tension has a straightforward resolution that most funnels ignore.
Friction placed before capture costs you leads. Friction placed after capture costs you almost nothing, because the person has already committed and the psychology has shifted.
So ask for the minimum at the form — often name and one contact method. Then ask the qualifying questions in the follow-up sequence, on the booking page, or in the first conversation. You get the volume of a low-friction form and the qualification of a high-friction one.
It sounds like a trick and it is simply better sequencing.

Questions
Lead Generation Funnels — common questions
Should we gate content behind a form?
It depends on what you want. Gating produces fewer leads of higher intent; ungating produces reach and no contact details. For most service businesses gating works, provided the thing behind the form is genuinely worth the exchange rather than a repackaged brochure.
How do we get quality without killing volume?
Progressive qualification. Ask the minimum at capture, then gather more after the person has committed — in a follow-up sequence, a booking step or a conversation. Front-loading all the questions is what kills volume; asking them later loses far fewer people.
Why does source attribution matter so much here?
Because lead count by source is misleading. A source producing many low-quality leads can look better than one producing few good ones, and spend follows the wrong number. Tracking quality by source frequently reverses which channel looks best.
What makes a good lead magnet?
Something genuinely useful to someone who might buy, and not useful to someone who would not. A guide that appeals to everyone in your industry attracts competitors and students. A narrower, more specific asset produces fewer leads and considerably better ones.
How fast should follow-up happen?
Within seconds where possible. Interest decays quickly and published research on lead response is unambiguous about the direction, even if the exact multipliers vary by context. Automated first contact removes the dependency on someone being available.
Related services
Sales funnels built on the argument, not the template
A sales funnel is a structured sequence that moves someone from first awareness to purchase — typically a landing page, an offer, a form or checkout, and follow-up for those who do not convert immediately. Its effectiveness comes from the offer and the argument rather than from the page structure.
AI applied to lead capture, honestly scoped
AI improves lead generation by capturing enquiries across voice, chat and messaging at any hour, qualifying them conversationally rather than through long forms, enriching records with what was said, and routing by value — so more of the demand that already exists is captured and reaches the right person.
Landing pages built for one decision
A landing page converts when its message matches what the visitor was promised by the ad or link that brought them, when it asks for one clear action rather than several, when the form requests only what is genuinely needed, and when it loads fast enough that people do not leave before seeing it.
VSL funnels where the video does the selling
A VSL funnel is a conversion flow built around a video sales letter — a video carrying the main sales argument, on a page with minimal distraction, followed by a booking or purchase step. Watch-time data is used to gauge interest and to branch follow-up accordingly.
Booking funnels that end in a confirmed appointment
A booking funnel takes a visitor from first click to a confirmed appointment in one flow — qualifying them, showing live calendar availability, capturing the booking, then confirming and reminding them so the slot is actually attended rather than merely reserved.
