GoHighLevel Snapshot

Also written: GHL snapshot

Quick answer

What is a GoHighLevel snapshot?

A GoHighLevel snapshot is a reusable template of a sub-account containing its pipelines, workflows, funnels, calendars, custom fields, forms and campaigns. Loading a snapshot into a new sub-account recreates that configuration in minutes, which lets agencies deliver repeatable client builds instead of rebuilding each one.

Snapshots are what turn agency delivery from a service into something closer to a product. Without one, client eleven takes as long as client three and margin falls as volume rises.

The most common mistake is creating a snapshot by exporting a live client account. It saves a day and carries that client’s specifics — their test data, half-finished experiments and situation-specific workflows — into every future deployment. Building deliberately in a clean account costs more once and considerably less over the following ten builds.

Some configuration does not transfer between accounts, including certain integration credentials and phone numbers, so a deployment guide covering post-load steps is part of any usable snapshot.
